This 100% Organic Wool Flat Crib pad resists moisture to protect your mattress. It is 1/8" thick. This wool has been expertly felted to repel any liquids, urine, spills that your baby exposes it to. You must have some cotton (like a sheet) on top to absorb the liquid. Wool rarely needs washing because bacteria and mold do not grow on wool. Wool naturally resists mildew, bacteria and dust mites. This is Machine Washable on delicate, hang dry (not in sun).
